Estelle MARGAINE is a large family’s mother (she's a housewife but not desperate)

As very often happens in the evening, the children want a story. So, instead of reading a book to them, Estelle prefers to invent the tales and the characters. Each story is invented according to matters of life that children can understand regarding civics or health prevention.

These become lessons of morality, important lessons which teaches each child good behavior among others and how to live in civic society.

Then, Estelle notices that the stories are interesting to the children and she keeps their attention. The children in turn continually ask for previously told stories. She decides to write these tales down.

The holidays are approaching, the illustrations are not completed yet. Everyone starts to work on the drawings.

Afterward friends join the family to view the new drawings: Brunhilde Widmaier and Thierry Ros.

All this expending of energy will not be in vain, Estelle decides to publish them, the HISTORICONTES is born.
